That was a good episode!
Finally we get Aries real story, even if it was kind of obvious. That ending was intense! Did not actually expect Kanata to lose an arm!
Is next week the finale? Feel like we still have lot of things that need to happen. Especially the whole Earth/Astra timeline? Like how did the new planet become so advanced so fast? (Assuming that girl they found was really only asleep for 12 years?)

That was a spicy episode. Wonder if when they get back to astra everyone will accept them as clones. And then theres the matter of polina. If theyve hidden the fact that they migrated from earth to astra, shes kinda a problem.
刺激的なエピソードだった。アストラに戻ったら、彼らはクローンとして受け入れられるのだろうか。ポリーナについてはまだ問題がある。地球からアストラに移住したことが隠されているのなら、彼女はちょっと問題なのでは。
Charce made a joke in one of the first episodes that he and Aries were probably father and child in a previous life.

Kanata's not getting a biological replacement limb. If their world had that kind of technology already, growing a full-body clone as an organ bank would be redundant and inefficient. Yet, several of the people involved in the cloning conspiracy thought it was a good idea.

There is a real world analogy here.
Charce was raised by a narcissistic parent, like most of the kids here. But he was constantly told that he was worthless, and he started to believe it. Sorta similar to the singer girl.

The king wouldn't have been able to use Charce's body even if he wanted to because:
1.Zach's father memory transfer technology is experimental and doesn't work 100%, which is why every parent was waiting for it to be completed and the illegalization of clones screwed their plans. So of course the king wouldn't risk it.
2.Even if he could enter Charce's body he would still be arrested as soon as they found out that this new young king has the exact same DNA as the old one, thanks to the new law. He would become younger sure, but he'd be behind bars.
