コインチェックから NEM 盗難被害者に対する返済が行われ、昨日から NEM の価格が高騰しています。

NEM盗難被害者に返済
According to a report in the WSJ, Coincheck claims that it has completed the compensation it promised to its customers for the loss. A total of 46.3 billion JPY ($433 million USD) was spent from the company’s own funds to reimburse 260,000 customers that stored NEM on the exchange.
WSJ の報道によると、コインチェックは以前から約束していた顧客の損失に対する補償を完了したと説明しています。NEM を保有していた 26 万人の顧客に対する返済のために、同社の自己資金から合計 463 億円 (4 億 3300 万ドル) が支払われました。
Customers received XEM at a rate of 88.549 JPY per token as previously advised by the exchange. This equates to approximately $0.83, which is almost double NEM’s current trading price and is closer to that at the end of January when the hack took place.
顧客は以前から通知されていた通り 1 XEM 当たり 88.549 円をコインチェックから受け取りました。これは約 0.83 ドルに相当し、NEM の現在の取引価格のおよそ 2 倍、ハッキングが起こった 1 月末の価格に近い価格になります。
In reaction to the news, the price of XEM shot up over 20% during this morning’s Asian trading session. While most other cryptocurrencies were once again in the red, NEM traded higher on the day. Currently trading at $0.42, the token is up from $0.34 this time yesterday.
このニュースを受けて、XEM の価格は今朝のアジア時間中に 20% 以上上昇しました。他の多くの仮想通貨は再び下落していましたが、今日の NEM は高値で取引されました。現在は 0.42 ドルで取引されており、24 時間前の 0.34 ドルから上昇しています。
今回は、NEM 盗難事件の被害者に補償が行われた件の記事でした。
コインチェック事件から一ヶ月以上が経過しましたが、被害者はとりあえずいったん一安心といったところでしょうか。返済された資金で NEM の買い戻しがされているためか、昨日から NEM が高騰しています。
なお、コインチェックでは現在 NEM の購入ができませんが、Zaif など他の取引所で購入可能です。
